Raw Clock Data, Turned Into Clean Payroll

The problem

Payroll started with a raw export and a lot of manual math.

Payroll started with a raw Toast export — clock-ins, clock-outs, and breaks for every employee, every location. Someone had to manually calculate regular vs. overtime hours and check for missed breaks by hand, every single pay period, across four stores.

What I built

A clean, flagged summary — no manual math required.

A script reads the raw Toast export, calculates regular and overtime hours per employee, and flags missed breaks and anomalies automatically — turning a multi-hour manual process into a clean summary that's ready for payroll.
